# Account Security

Protecting your EaseBG account is important. Here's how to keep your account secure.

## Changing Your Password

1. Go to Settings > Security

2. Enter your current password

3. Enter and confirm your new password

4. Click Save Changes

## Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account.

1. Go to Settings > Security

2. Click Enable 2FA

3. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator (or any TOTP app)

4. Enter the 6-digit verification code

5. Save your backup recovery codes in a safe place

> Important: If you lose access to your authenticator device, you will need the backup codes to regain access.

## Updating Your Profile

1. Go to Settings > Profile

2. Update your name, avatar, or email

3. Click Save

## If You Forget Your Password

1. Go to the login page and click Forgot Password

2. Enter your email address

3. Check your inbox for a reset link
